I want to be a professional hockey player. We get picked on teams and play. My dad plays with me; so does my brother and my friends Allen and Jared. We play in our driveway. We use hockey sticks. My favourite part of the game is when you score a goal. You feel excitement coming through you, you’re one goal closer to victory.
The Calgary Flames is the main hockey team in Calgary and area. It is Fames crazy right now with the playoffs going on. An example is in 2004, people were partying on a street called the Red Mile and having so much fun. It was awesome! The Flames almost won the Stanley Cup!!!!! This year, when the Flames won a playoff game I went to school the next day and almost everybody was wearing Flames stuff. It rocked! The best player on the Flames team is Jarome Iginla.

I will be a professional soccer player. I will also be good at golf and hockey and baseball. I play soccer after school. I will wear all the equipment I need. I will play soccer in Hollywood and I will be on Drake’s (my twin brother’s) soccer team. My favourite part of the game is when I win. I wear equipment when I play. My best position is when I’m NOT in net.
How to play soccer: You run around and kick a ball and try to get it into the net. If you get it into the net you get a goal.

I will be a pro soccer player. I will also be very good at hockey and golf. My soccer team will be called Holly Woods. I will be a famous soccer player, in fact, I will be the most famous soccer player in the whole world. I play soccer after school and destroy other soccer players. I will coach my own soccer team. I will play soccer in Hollywood. Soccer is a game where you kick the soccer ball to try and get it in to the goal.

A sport after school that I like to play is hockey. I play in my backyard with my brothers.
Another sport I like is gymnastics. I’m not really good at it! Sometimes I watch people compete on TV.
The team I cheer for in hockey is the Calgary Flames. They are a good team. They are in the playoffs right now. I hope they win the Stanley Cup this year!

At school I play volleyball, soccer and basketball. After school I play baseball and hockey. I play at Fletcher Park and the Beiseker arena. My brother plays sports with me. I wear a jersey, cleats and a hat when I play baseball and a jersey, special pants, a helmet, skates, a chest protector and gloves when I play hockey. My favourite part of baseball is hitting the ball with the bat. My favourite part of hockey is scoring on the other teams’ net. My city’s sports team is the Airdrie Hitmen. The fans are strong in their support of the team. Sports keep us fit because they make us active by running or skating. Football, soccer, hockey and baseball are good for a lifetime of fitness. Schools, cities and countries can build better relations through sports by playing together and becoming friends.

My favourite sport is hockey because it is very fun. There are many rules in hockey. I will tell you some of them. Offside is when you cross the opponent’s blue line before the puck. There are also penalties like hooking and tripping. Crosschecking, roughing, and interference are penalties as well. I think the worst penalty a player can get is a game suspension.
